A working organic farm in Raghavapur that opens its gate to guests: orchards you can walk into, water you can swim in, and a table set from the morning's harvest.

Our story
A farm first, a resort second
MJR Farms began as a stretch of red Telangana soil and a stubborn idea: that land gives more when it is fed rather than forced. No chemical fertiliser, no synthetic pesticide, only compost, native seed and time.
Years of that patience turned into shade. Mango, pomegranate and guava grew tall enough to walk under, and the farm became somewhere people wanted to stay rather than simply visit. So we built cottages between the rows, dug a pool at the centre, and opened the lawn to families who needed room to celebrate.
Everything a guest eats here is grown within sight of the plate, or by a neighbour we know by name. That is the whole philosophy, and nothing more complicated than it sounds.

How we farm
Slow on purpose
Four habits we have never traded away, even when they cost us a season.

Feed the soil
Compost, green manure and cattle from the farm itself. The soil is the crop; the fruit is what it gives back.

Plant what belongs
Native and regional varieties that already know this heat, this rain and this red earth.

Let it ripen
No forced ripening, no carbide, no cold-chain shortcuts. Fruit comes down when the tree lets go.

Waste nothing
Peels and prunings go back into the beds. Kitchen water goes to the trees. The loop stays closed.

Cottages that open onto the orchard
Rooms are built low and wide so the breeze crosses them, with a verandah facing the tree line. You wake to birds rather than traffic, and the pool is thirty steps from the door.
